JOY AND ALEX OKONGO ACHUTI, ARE A LOVING PEOPLE. WE LOVE TO SEE A PEOPLE EQUIPPED WITH THE WORD OF GOD AND BECOMING RELEVANT EXPRESSION TO THE COMMUNITY, AS THEY INFLUENCE THE COMMUNITY TO KNOW AND DO THE WORKS OF GOD. THAT THEY RETURN TO HIM THROUGH THE WORD.

Apostle Alex is married to Joy and are in full time Ministry. The Lord has blessed us with 5 Children,3 girls and two boys. Josephine our first born is 17years old, Evelyne is 15 years old, Kelly is 10 years old, Nicholas (adopted) is 11 years old and Brian is  8 years of age. All the children go to school. Josephine is in boarding school while the rest commune to and fro school daily.

Right now, we are living with a 22 year old girl whose parents separated and Milly could not complete her schooling. We took her into our home when she was under depression. She is happy to be called our daughter. Does she want to continue with her school? or Training in Tailoring? Yes!! if funds are available.

I am the Secretary General of Endtime Harvest and Discipleship Church, which has Church branches in Kenya, Uganda and Norway (about 60 in total)

MY CALL.

In 1990,while I was working as a Roads Inspector with a  Consultant firm, Bishop Fredrick Ogara preached the Word of God to me and I received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour over my life. He is my spiritual father to date. I  had come from a terrible background. My parents worshiped other gods and made blood covenants with them. I thank God who saw me worthy and saved my soul. From that day I groaned within myself that God give me enablement to be able to set others free from bondages to freedom by your Word. Just as I was set free.

In 1994,Prophet Gene Bacon from USA, prophesied over my life that the Lord has called me to become a Teacher of His Word, then He will release His anointing over me to become His prophet and then the Apostolic. Every Word God spoke through the man of God, has come to pass. My spirit within me is in agreement with the Apostolic Call which I have confirmed through a demonstration of His power  through signs and wonders. Praise God.

TRAININGS

After completing and passing my primary school in Kisii,  joined High  school, at Starehe Boy's Centre where I completed up to Form six. I then went for further training as a Material Technolist (Soils).

I have worked with different Firms in the Inspectorate Department until I met the Lord. The Call became so strong hungering for more of God that I had to go to Bible College.

1.In 1998 I finished my first Diploma course with Christian Life Teaching C.L.T.Bungoma.

2.I have done Church Management and Administration, Daystar University Nairobi.

3.Short Courses with various USAID Programs e.g. HIV infected and affected, APHIA 11 Western Channels of Hope in HIV/AIDS Pandemic-Pastors and Church leaders, APHIA 11 Western Young Adolescent program etc.

4.I  graduated in Kenya Ministry Training Institute -Higher Diploma in Biblica Studies. Every two months I attend short courses in the same institution in preparation for future Sattelite training Centres in Africa.

5.I represent religious wing of the Church when the Government is introducing something new to the community,e.g. dangers of poorly disposed injections from hospitals and other exposed sharp objects, the dangers they pose to the community.

THE MINISTRY OBJECTIVES OF THE DISCIPLESHIP

· To diligently teach the word of God to all people in churches and to organized groups in rural & urban areas.

· To operate Biblical Colleges and Training centers, to train ministers lay persons and youth for work of service.

· To co-operate with other bodies of similar faith world wide for the purpose of building the body of Christ.

· Fulfilling the Great commission. Math 28 : 19.

· Discipleship Ministry is an Inter-denominational African Oriented Ministry birthed by Endtime Harvest Church. The goal is making the word of God alive and relevant to the day today situation in our lives.

· Enable the individual live a wholistic life, physically, Spiritually and economically through the Word of God.

WHO AM I

I am a Pastor and the Director of Discipleship Training Ministry under Endtime Harvest and Discipleship Church. So far we have 20 inter-denominational,African Oriented Training Ministry Centers in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.I have travelled to many African countries teaching the Foundational Word,e.g. Democratic republic of Congo, Tanzania, Uganda, Mali-West Africa and willing to go as the Lord leads.

Church planting has been birthed from the many Training Centers, as some of the students discover their giftings by the end of the course. Many times I assist them  by the grace of God and the Churches are growing.

From the year 2000,to date we have taught about 450 students who have successfully completed the courses. We also have 10 voluntary teachers assisting me with the program. We undertake Certificate and Diploma courses.

TESTIMONIES

 PAMELA.

-She is married with 3 children.

-has been suffering from spirit of rejection. Her husband did not regard her as special  to his household.

-Her clothes were limited to two or three.

-Did not have any livestock in her home nor land to cultivate and practice agricutural farming.

   AFTER TRAINNING

-During Training we took her through deliverance session.

-The Lord changed her life and gave her favor before all people including her husband.

-The Lord restored to her all things the enemy had stolen from her knowingly or deceitfully.

-She has four good cows restored to her,50 chickens and enough land to practice farming.

-She is experiencing the peace of the Lord. The family members now allow her to even come to our church and to fellowship with other pentecostals. Her faith is unto the Lord and nothing can make her change her mind. Many women come to her to find out what she did for her life to change, It is JESUS. A few have seen and received Jesus as Lord.

DOMINIC

-Dominic is married to Colletta and the Lord has blessed them with 2 healthy children.

-Dominic has been without a job for many years.

-Got employed and before long he was terminated without cause.

-Was desperate and in need of finances for the upkeep of his family.

-has land but does not yield any reasonable harvest.

    AFTER TRAINING

-During deliverance session we redeemed his land from the control by the ancestral gods.

-Broke all the blood covenants and dethroned the ruling spirits on his ancestral land.

-Covenanted the land to the rulership and authority of our Lord Jesus Christ through His blood He shed at Calvary.

-The Lord delivered him and sent somebody to Dominic and he bought Dominic a power saw worth over 50,000/-(seven hundred and twenty five dollars-us)

-The land is yielding to very good harvest now. Crops in his plantation look beautiful and attractive cos of the glory and favor of God.

-The Lord is now using this brother to give instructions to the village training groups. many are coming to Christ and those who had clung to cultural values have dropped them after their minds got illuminated with the word of God.

-He uses the power saw to earn his living by splitting timber for people on contract.

NEEDS

1.The newly planted Church is called GUAVA TREE because we hold our services under a guava tree. The same Guava tree is housing now 38 Nursery pupils and a Teacher. We need 3 acres of land and constructing Church sanctuary which will double up as a nursery classroom to begin with.

2.A permanent Bible School H/Q with boarding facilities to accommodate students from the villages who want to study the Word of God.

3.Scholarships for the Church Leaders and ministers who desire to study but are limited by finances.

4.Sponsorship for the teacher's( stipend) who walk/ride bicycles to the villages to teach in the village school.

5.Donations of Teaching materials, Materials for training include office equipments, computers, photocopying machines, Telephones, audio and visual tapes etc. (can be purchased an item at a time or used items of the same can be donated.)

6. Four wheel drive vehicles to get to the rural (village areas)- unreached areas

TRIP TO WEST AFRICA

I spent 10 days in Bamako capital city of Mali and then to the northern part of Mali, Toumbctoue (Timbuktu), where we had 6 powerful days preaching the word of God. While in Timbouctou, we visited one of the villages where Dr. Cliff  preached to them about Naaman. How the enemy of Israel was forced to go to Israel to get medication. Forgiveness was the key word. How Cliff would like to forgive Al-Qaida King and make friends with him so that the world may experience peace. Wow!! They the Tuaregs were humbled and allowed us to pray for them. In the end they also prayed for us but before they could finish tears rolled down the leader's cheeks. They had never seen anything like this before. We then prayed for their sheep and camels.
