Apostle Francis  Wambogo Wafula... My Personal Testimony
 

I was born in a Christian family, but there was a time in my life, when although I’d gone to church faithfully, still somehow I didn’t know for sure that, I had eternal life instead, I had a terrifying fear of death, or no purpose in life. But when I received eternal life, and now that I have eternal life, it is good to know that I am going to heaven when I die. That is why the bible was written in the book of 1 John 13, that these things are written so that you may know that you have eternal life.

As I came to know that, I started to serve the lord faithfully, reading His word everyday, praying everyday, going to church everyday and there was a time when I was sleeping I heard a voice calling me Francis! Francis! Stand up and tell my people to repent their sins and turn unto me and I will bless them, and there was many people of whom I didn’t know. It was 1988.

When I woke up there was nobody around me. It is when I realized that he was the Lord calling me. From there up to now I have seen the hand of the Lord working upon me and when my pastor came to realize that I had the gift of teaching he appointed me as a Sunday School teacher and I did it effectively for five years, by that time I was fellowshipping in Kenya Missionary fellowship, but the members were not walking right with the word of God. So that made me to join another Ministry called, Grace Community Church under pastor, Jephnear Wabwai, and soon as I joined them he also appointed me as a Sunday School teacher, I worked for one year and he promoted me to be a Deacon of which I worked for three years, and while I was working as a Deacon I joined Bungoma bible School of which I received very important materials for my equipment and when I completed my studies in Bungoma Bible School it was 1991.

My Pastor promoted me to be assistant Pastor I worked well for four years under his leadership and when he saw what the Lord was doing in my life, he started to work on my downfalls, that is to say he oppressed me instead of uplifting me. That made me to join another Ministry by the name Glory church of Kenya under the leadership of Reverend Richard Shin, as I joined them he appointed me to pasture the church at Nzoia which was already established by another Pastor. when I went there I found four members only in that church, But I found favour from God during my leadership the church grew impetuous up to 133 members .

But I was not satisfied with the number of members. In me there was a cry for the lost souls and again I joined theological school at Nairobi in the College called Grace College of East Africa of which I received a certificate in pastoral study. That was 1994 July. When I finished my studies, I came back to my church at Nzoia area and I was there for three years but I had the burden of planting churches of which I did, but the Ministry did not take care about them so I, decided to remain at home without going to church for two years, praying that God may direct me what to do.

I was praying together with my wife that the Lord may give us a Ministry and direct us where we can establish the church. I want to thank God who gave the name of the Ministry called ABIDE IN CHRIST CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP MINISTRIES. The Lord led us to a place called Siloba that  was 2001 and it is the place where, we are now working  as Apostles, we gave much thanks to God even if we are facing some challenges, we know that the Lord is with us.

So I have a vision of planting many churches every where in the world and train one million Indigenous missionary movement and also to let them know that they have eternal life in Christ Jesus, as I did.

By the way I am married with one wife and the Lord has blessed us with nine children. We are all serving the Lord. I being the founder of Abide in Christ Christian fellowship Ministries I have to raise at least one million missionaries to complete the remaining task of our Lord Jesus Christ. They must be the main power to evangelize to the unreached

In their own and neighbouring countries. I asked myself how to accomplish the remaining task together in our generation? I learned that the world Christian churches must be mobilized for the remaining task of Jesus Christ. So in Abide in Christ Christian Fellowship Ministries, I’m concentrating on three consecutive missions.

a)      Mobilizing Mission

1)      Revival and evangelism crusade

2)      Discipleship training for church workers

b)      Training mission

1)      Two weeks intensive in M.T.C

2)      Six months pioneering mission for the unreached

c)      Sending Mission

1)      Researching and adopting unreached people

2)      Send ministry missionaries to evangelize, follow up, and discipling, life- ministry of Jesus Christ for the unreached people.

3)      Establish self – supporting groups by finances for missionary work.

I am humbled and honored to join you in International Apostolic Network. I have prayed for months, even years, about this vision. Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking the challenge of leading and equipping other Apostles for the church of Christ. Many people are coming to Christ each day around the world. Crying need of the hour is for health, effectively, spiritual apostles to guide them. We thank for taking this journey with us. May we enter heaven rejoicing together that we part of the greatest apostleship movement the world has ever seen.

I thank God for Apostle Robert Makona whom the Lord has anointed for the mission. He prayed for  me and also he anointed me last week to join  Apostolic Network Amen.
