FAMILY GOSPEL CELEBRATION MINISTRY
ARM OF WORLD REVIVAL & SALVATION MINISTRIES:
samuyenga@yahoo.com

I am Apostle Samson Muyenga Walala, the name
Muyenga was derived from my Grandfather, who was good at brewing African brew
called (Chang’aa) as time came to pass God transformed me into a new
personality/ preacher of the word of God to all people and families. Being the
first born with six sisters and five brothers since my early youth I’ve never
been employed anywhere God gave a noble job of serving him as a preacher of the
word. I have served God by taking the gospel on foot, by bicycle and donkey cat
. I am married to one wife Mrs. Rose Muyenga. I am 57 years while she is 50
years old. We are blessed with six children (three sons, three
daughters and three grand sons, three grand daughters.
When I attained the age of twelve,
in 1960 I was baptized by Salvation Army major Joshua Ashika, who chose for me
baptism name (Samson) after prophesying that I would be a strong friend of God.
While I continued in my primary education as a
soldier of Christ by baptism, life at the village was difficult to witness at my
age. It made me to continue at the village being rudest and least of all the
faithful. It was not easy to keep the precepts of God and was not obedient to
the priest who admonished us for our salvation.
God had to intervene in my life by opening to me the sense of my unbelief my sin and that I might return with my whole heart to the Lord God, who had respect in my humiliation and pitied my youth and ignorance and took care of me before I knew him and before I had wisdom and protected me and comforted me as father does a son.
When I joined secondary school in 1968 I found a
Christian union there. My spiritual growth was perfect compared to life at the
village. The school environment was uplifted spiritually. One weekend the
Christian Union was invited by a neighbour school for Christian union club
association. On that day 27/7/1968 noon God spoke to me through the preacher
who challenged me to submit to Jesus Christ for salvation. The word of God made
me see my evil state and I accepted Jesus by faith. His shed blood washed me
from all the sins I did, spoke and thought in my youth. I was justified and set
apart for discipleship.
It was on that one time and day that Christ rested my heart in abundance of joy overflowing. A refreshing peace of heart that yearned to stay with the Lord Jesus for ever.
However after my salvation I could not continue with secondary education due to lack of school fees. In 1971, a minister Rev. William Welime with the reformed church of East Africa, bought a farm in our village. He wanted two boys to assists him on his new farm. He came to our home looking for a boy he had heard about in the wide village called Samson.
He met me and told me what he wanted from me. After
three months working on his farm, he suggested to take me to Bible School
training. My parents were not willing to allow me join a different religion
which was quite different from theirs.
I had admired the lifestyle of Rev W. Welime. The way he talked to people, the respect he earned as God’s servant and the way he treated his workmen etc. Without the knowledge of my parents, I decided to go with the minister at his working place away from the village. I stayed at the minister’s home for a week before I joined the Bible school. When time came, he took me to the Bible school principle’s house for an interview. I was in his house for almost four hours sitting for the interview. However, I was successful with 75% a good pass. That same evening the principle took me to the Bible school some three miles from his house. I was admitted and given uniform and utensils etc. After no time I learned the training had started January 1971 and that I was replacing a student who had dropped out by himself after being there for six months. After two years of training we finished successfully and ordained on the 26th of September 1973 ready to serve God in various posts.

1990 – 1998 Missionary worker (extension)
I was transferred to a hardship area as an extension
worker. However the act of mistreatment placed me in the hands of God to be my
boss who could be considerate to me for ever. What man can’t do God can. God
heard our family complains as though we worked for human beings.
I particularly saw the intervention of God in such harsh and tough conditions.280km away from my family being honest to my God in service, God saw me and understood my true self at the new post.
He relieved me from the hardship I encountered by setting me free as he spoke to me in a vision as I was asleep. I heard a voice and saw in my vision much rains pouring down on me – “Go back to your family, friends and neighbours and revive their understanding of God and his promises of origin to human family.”
However, I did not want to discuss it with anybody
even my wife for I feared discouragement and being derailed from the words I
believed was God’s revelation to me alone. Mine was to continue requesting God
to confirm his God given ministry in me for I was willing and obedient to be
sent.
After seven days, I wrote a resignation letter to my mother church to be withdrawn from the payroll rank so that I can work for God on voluntary basis.
When I resigned and come home, I started the voluntary ministry at my family altar with a vision to revive other families on God’s understanding.
As I served God, he challenged my life and the fear
of God increased and my faith grew stronger and the spirit was stirred to humble
before God always. It was a call by the grace of God, with a burden first to my
family and then to the world at large (to bring the spiritual influence to a
family). It was out of this vision that I had to realize God spoke about the
future of our families was stolen by Satan where by God from the beginning
blessed the family – many families’ hope is stolen and are left in confusion
without the covenant of God.
Because of communication transport I trained my
donkey called Benjamin to be carrying me on its cart elsewhere I went preaching
the word of God. Wherever I landed to speak to people on the way, the donkey
Benjamin could follow me behind step by step (as sheep following its shepherd).
It had lost its wildly natural behaviour by the training of the man of God so
that it became sensitive, friendly and co-operative just to comply to God’s call
it in deed promoted my evangelism team work. It was the fastest in the area
12km/hr. It attracted many people to my meetings and gave me a chance to speak
to them.
God alone revealed to me the usefulness of the donkey to my ministry in the year 1992 up to now. Everything is useful only if God approves its instrumentality. I thank God for Benjamin, many youths and children have welcomed me to their homes just because of the animal and later become my evangelistic and missionary field.
I remember an expectant woman who gave birth on my
donkey cart as I took them to hospital maternity. This happened beside the road
half way to the hospital. The boy was named (Sikirio) meaning donkey in their
tradition.
However later I spoke to them about the love and care of God in Jesus Christ who came to save us from sins also came to save them too. They accepted Christ and are among my active members. I thank God for them too. Proving it to be God’s call, the mother church in which I served licensed me to work voluntarily in their churches by authorizing three parishes to receive me as fellow work in Christ to help revive by my vision to bring self reliance in their churches through voluntary service. This was officially authorized in 1995 by the general secretary I do have the letter. As a result to it, three local churches were planted in Western Presbytery of Reformed church of East Africa, namely:-
In Bungoma parish 1.) Vitungu church (reformed)
In Namunyiu parish – Mitua church (reformed)
In Nangili parish – Cheproroch church (reformed)
1998-1999 on 4th June 1998, at night I
heard a voice – “a wake! Come with me to the nearby family for Gospel
celebration of Jesus Christ.” The person repeated again – (Awake – awake).
The vision continued, I stood next to the man who was in total white garment
directed me to a family house. We found ourselves inside the house without
entering any door as usual. When we came close to the family members, they were
all covered and asleep. We stood next to them right in the house, he asked me to
awake them up. When I thought what to do next, I discovered my friend was not
there with me in the house, I was alone, my friend in the vision was no where to
be seen.” I suddenly woke up and found myself in my usual sleeping room 280km
away from family house.
On 14th Dec 1998, another vision, it seemed a continuation of the passed because the main player was the same person in total white garment who appeared to me when I was asleep. he commanded me – “ come now, we receive you in good faith, make friendship with us in whatever way you wish and you will flourish” he added - “ we have a burden to revive families that are spiritually asleep, to remind them the original covenants and promises of God upon the human family” after these words, he disappeared. Out of this vision I realized the servanthood was resting upon me, a servanthood not of the lusts of men, but of God’s will and purpose with a burden to human family (being the only good unity survived since the fall of man) referred as a symbol of a church.
I am called to link and connect God’s pre-destined
family and evangelism into a family altar celebration.
