Apostle David Abakalwa Wanyonyi was born in the year 1972 October at Trans-nzoia District, Kwanza Division , Chepchoina location, Twiga Sub-location . Brought up in a family of a father and a mother being the first born among the ten children.

The year 1980 I was sent to school which was just 1 hour walk in the village and qualified to be enrolled in class one by stretching my right hand to touch my left ear as the

interview. During 1988, I sat for my K.C.P.E paper and qualified to join my senior one in 1989 at Manor House High School. Due to poverty and lack of family (father) failed to

afford my fees which made me to drop out of my senior school while in form two second term.

Jesus the Lion of Judah called me in the year 1989 August. As a young man eager to know much was baptized by the Holy Ghost and had a chance of being called in the service immediately with all excitement being part of humanity. Joy and diligence I served the Lord and I am still serving Him. In 1986 February, in a holy matrimony joined with my beloved wife and began my family by moving from rural area to town where we are still serving our senior priest Jesus King of Kings.

Together as a family, we’ve had good moments and rough moments with challenges in the pastoral ministry for about eleven years. As a family, that is dedicated to God by prayers and offering ourselves to serve people of God with all heartedly, we hear people say words, “ Oo! You are teachers of the word, you encourage, God used you by the word of knowledge plant for us a church please,” among many words.

We have started several churches that is currently doing well together with home bible fellowships. Avoiding a burden and selfishness, we groove people and delegate the work of God to them but we oversee. Not only prophecy that we’ve received, but also people began to call me apostle through the work itself, which was confirmed some three years ago.

Challenges are so many in the ministry in Africa - among poverty leading.  People believe in God and so in their spiritual leaders. To change the mind set of people is to set an example by working, we believe God to have a capital that may use the available resources to put together and do something that will result to a good profit that will enable the spread of the gospel in Africa.

For about 13 years I have been selling drugs for malaria, typhoid and so many others. This has made me to meet my own needs and church needs, though for lack of enough money i have been doing it in small scale.

WHAT IT HAS DONE TO ME

Have been able to build my own house that cost nine hundred thousand Kenyan shillings with other so many things.

I have three churches at different locations but we intent to expand the work as God will lead us.  have some few orphans that we committed ourselves to send them to school and provide them with shelter ,food, clothes, and health care. One of them is in form two soon graduating to go to form three. The Government of Kenya through NACC (National Aids Control Council) managed to visit us and requested us to write a proposal and it was funded some little money that helped us to do small things for these children.

In doing this, I was awarded a certificate of congratulation and another certificate on having participated well in HIV/AIDS awareness in my region. Also the Government took me on a two weeks seminar for training about accounts.

I believe in working with  my own hands as Apostle Paul says in His epistles, and this has helped me to encourage more young men not to just sit there and wish but rather do something. I have four young men that have trained to do what I'm doing and I'm happy to see them excelling in life even if its not much because of lack of more capital.

My goal is to have strong community that is educated, enlightened with the gospel, committed to work, responsible, accountable, and also faithful both to men and God.  By doing this, the gospel of Jesus Christ will spread easily without strain, the society or an individual to be self reliant by pulling together the available resources and making use of them and have self sustainable project. I personally have self sustainable projects that brings me at least US $ 30.This makes me not to be shy when visiting this Orphans.

I don't intent to have many poor members neither more poor churches but strong empowered people of God that can empower others and influence the entire community by good news of the Lord.

It is my prayer that God willing I may expand my personal work by having 5 people employed which after paying all expenses I can remain with at least US$60 and according to my experience I see it workable if helped some little money.
