Apostle Ernest Gibson, graduate of Word for the World Bible College and Grace Bible College & Theological Seminary, has both Associate Degree in Biblical Studies and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology. He entered the ministry in 1996, and served as both assistance and the pastor of three churches. After serving as pastor for many years, he entered the field of full-time evangelism and global mission. With a burden to help the local churches in Africa and other parts of the world, he founded Calvary Missions International. The goal of this ministry is to strengthen and support the local church fulfills their vision.
As an apostle and evangelist, his first priority is preaching. He believes that preaching is the most important activity of the local church. With a burden for heaven–sent revival, he preaches at local churches across West and Central Africa and the United States of America. Also, he delights in preaching at Bible conferences, youth meetings and other Christian gatherings to encourage and strengthen the Saints. With a desire to excite the Christians over missions, he preaches at mission conferences, and started Grace Bible College & Seminary in Nigeria. He is the Founder and Presiding Bishop of Champions’ Chapel International Churches in the U.S., Liberia, Benin Republic and Ghana, with other fellowships growing around the African nations.
As an author, he has written two books to assist local churches in the area of discipleship. The first book, “That You May Grow”, is regarding the area of Christian growth. The second book, which will soon be published, is for laymen on the subject of Bible doctrines. He is presently writing other discipleship books to guide Christians to a trustworthy Bible–the King James Bible.
As a husband and father, he is happily married to his wife, Josephine Gibson, who the Lord has used to bless him with two kids, Ernestine and Ernest Gibson, Jr., and he serves as a Spiritual Father to many within the Body of Christ.
