Apostle
Richard Wamalwa Kafunja was born on 27/10/1964 in the village of
Kapretwa, Kapretwa Location, Saboti Division, Transnzoia district of rift valley
province of Kenya. He is the second son among the seven sons and five daughters
of the late Shadrack Kafunja.
EDUCATION
He went to a village Nursery school for early childhood education in 1975 and joined Telteti primary school in 1976 to 1981 then transferred to Bango primary school where he sat for certificate of primary examination (CPE) in 1983 and attained 25 points out of 36. He joined Manor House High School for high education in 1984 to 1985 then his father died. He did not go beyond form two due to school fees after the death of his father who was basic provider.
In 1995 in his service as a Pastor God gave him favour to join Tambach Bible college in Nairobi Kenya, trained for two years and earned a certificate in Bible and Theology. For now he is pursuing a Diploma in the very Bible and Theology.
SALVATION
Immediately after the death of his father, Apostle Kafunja, he endured many problems and hardships and generally lived a hard life until 1989 when he received salvation and his life changed. God through the message about salvation send him a savior who was called Jesus Christ to save him from the bondage of sins and terrible life. He totally changed his life from darkness to light through baptism in water and holly spirit. Now he is living a holy life
MARITAL STATUS
Apostle Richard Kafuna is married to Catherine. God has blessed them with four sons and two daughters. They live a happy married life.
MINISTRY
In 1993 Apostle Kafunja was appointed Deacon in the local church. He worked in the capacity until 1995 when he was appointed as pastor to serve a new congregation. Immediately he was a warded scholarship to train at Tambach Bible College, Nairobi in Bible and theology.
He identified his ministry of Apostleship in 2005 in apostolic conference in Kitale. The Apostle Paul Galgan from Australia by prophecy called me to come forward and he prayed for him.
From there he established a ministry and went forth to convert many to Christianity turning then to Jesus.
So far he has planted 5 churches in Transnzoia and Bungoma District.
VISION
His vision is to preach the good news of Jesus Christ to all Nations to convert many souls to Christ.
To establish a bible college to train, teach and equip men and women leaders to serve the church affectively. To open an orphanage and widows centre to accommodate and serve orphans and widows from the churches. He trusts God will work the miracle.
