Vision             : Serve the Lord; preach the Gospel to the lost souls and run a

project/business that will help me accomplish my compassion for the

  needy and the destitute.

Family Background:

1.          I was born in 1969 in a Roman Catholic Christian family in Kenya.

             Conversion Experience:

In my childhood, I used to go to the Roman Catholic Church with my parents as a

routine. This did not prevent my family from obeying tradition rituals and practices.

I grew up practicing them, and drinking local brew became a habit to me and later I turned into a stronger alcoholic.

2.         I received salvation in 1985 at secondary school in a Christian Union (C.U.)

Fellowship. The preacher was preaching about “end time harvest and judgment.”

My heart was troubled a lot, I started meditating on the words of the preacher, and I made a choice to receive Jesus Christ as my personal Savior.  This is when I met Jesus and I heard a calling telling me “come out and serve Him, preach the Gospel to the lost souls.”

Experience/places worked

He has a small piece of land on which he is carrying subsistence farming. He wants to expand to cash crop, dairy farming and put up a posho mill.

He thanks God for having given him a supportive and encouraging wife whom he married in 1995, Mrs. , she is always on my side for social and technical advice, and she has made my dreams to come true. She is a loving and caring mother to our four children.

Born in 1969 to a poor but generous polygamous Roman Catholic Christian family, Mr. Murunga is the last born in a family of 10. My mother Sarah Murunga was the last (youngest) wife to Mr. Murunga Mbinga. My father at most times assisted the poor families in our neighborhood socially and provided them with food, maize, beans, millet and milk especially during the hunger season.

My mother was a housewife but also she assisted my father in their family farm.

He went to Sio Primary school, in 1977-1987, St. Charles Secondary school in 1988-1989 and dropped in form 2 due to lack of school fees.

Present Ministries and calling

  1. I am now serving the Lord as an apostle and a worker in the un-reached villages in Bungoma district-Kenya. The majority of the people that I work with are Muslims, Traditionalists, and Christians. In my Ministry, I hold open-air meetings, door-to-door visitation, evangelism, outreaches and church planting.

I have carried out missions in Uganda and Kenyan regions like Kisumu, and Kericho. God manifested Himself to people through miracles, people gave their lives to Christ, the sick were healed and the discouraged received hope.
