Introduction
Compassion word ministries is a  Spirit filled teaching ministry based in Misikhu western Kenya.

Our Mission
To Teach the truth of God's word as laid down in the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:18-20.

Our vision

Offering biblical training to pastors and Christian leaders in the remote parts of Kenya .

Our objectives

• We run satellite Bible Schools in various places ,that offer training to pastors in the rural places who cannot afford to go to Big bible colleges.

• We Organize interdenominational  annual conferences that gather together 400-800 believers from different churches, where they are ministered to by men and women of God from different places .

• We are involved in the evangelization of tribal peoples of Mount Elgon in Kenya, many of them have never had an opportunity to hear the gospel.

• We operate a small library in our main office at Misikhu ,which offers resource to pastors and as a scripture and Bible  placement center.

Our needs

• Intercessors who will pray daily for us.
• Willing supporters who will be led by God to support any of our programmes either in kind or in deed by donating books and bibles to the rural pastors we train.

Opportunities

Several opportunities exist in Compassion Word Ministries as follows:

• Short term missions in  our tribal  outreach teams.
• Volunteer teachers in our satellite bible schools.

About the founder /director

Apostle Elijah Wekesa Misiko is a teacher ,missionary and conference speaker he and and his wife Catherine are the founders of Compassion Word Ministries, They have  extensively involved in the teaching ministry in Kenya .They have Four sons Dan 10 years, Jesse 9 years ,Comfort 5 years and Carlos 4 years. They make their home in Misikhu where Catherine works as a matron in a mixed boarding school. The Elijah's when not on the mission field make their church home at Encouragement church Kimilili (Godfrey Watulo pastor)
