Apostle Moses Khisa Lusweti was born in 1965, 9th September at a place called Chesamisi Village, Makhonge sub location , Kamkunywa location , kimili Division , Bungoma district , Western Province of Kenya. I joined Chesamisi primary school in Standard One in early 1973, I did my certificate of Primary Education in 1979n , I did not join Form One because of school fees, I repeated that class in 1980 and in 1981 I joined Kwanza Friends Secondary School and in 1983 when I was in Form three I dropped out of school .In 1984 I joined Kodich Youth Polytechnic and trained in the following areas; Masonry, carpentry/joinery , earlier before when I was in standard three that was in 1975 that is the year I will not forget in my life , just because I was born again in the spirit(I got salvation ).In 1984 August one of the Saturdays I had a bison of taking care of the flocks .In 1986 when I was in the Youth Polytechnic as an Assistant -Instructor of building and construction , I was sleeping in my house , when I saw a great light in my house and when I came back to my sense , the light went out of the house .I tried to walk out of my house but that light disappeared , just from the beginning of that day I heard a voice speaking to me that I must serve the Lord , right from that time I have passed through many hardships , but God has been opening ways for me .I have attended several churches but still I was not satisfied until back to my call.
In 1988 January 25th , this was a Sunday. I started a church at Matise with seven members after having evangelism of house to house .We started just fellowshipping I one of the members’ house .The church has encountered so many hardship , since the members we have are not able to support this work .So far I have raised up three pastors from this church and I have opened them churches. In general , we have four churches all together in Victorious Life ministry and we are trusting God to provide for this churches .
I like person to person evangelism since we have no funds to purchase the (PA System) so in 2001 January .When I and my associate pastor were doing evangelism , we came across so many children who are deprived (total orphaned) as we were asking them how they had been surviving , they told us that they are living with their relatives , but getting even a small meal a day is a problem .No clothes , no education , so we had burden of this destitute children , sometimes we walk around and share to them the word of God , so that they may feel loved.
OUR VISION:
The word (Victorious Life Centre ) came because of this church .We just believed that God will provide and we stood on the word from Victorious Life Centre started .Our aim is to establish local churches, schools , home pf refuge for orphaned children, and health centers in order to show love compassion and bible to the community and the deprived children.
The Victorious Life Centre proposes to establish one or more of these homes in the countrywide .The founder of Victorious Life Centre since he trained in building and construction also with other Building and Construction in 2001 under Business Name of ZALULE CONSTRUCTION & COMPANY whereby we can construct roads, bridges and houses in the community so as to run this ministry though we are lacking equipments.
OPERATING PRINCIPLES
The Victorious Life Centre will establish and operate this homes of refugee for orphaned , abandoned and deprived children in accordance with the national laws and ordinances and will comply with the appropriate requirements of the ministry overseeing the areas of the children welfares.
THE VICTORIOUS LIFE CENTRE
It will further conduct itself in accordance with biblical Christian doctrines and beliefs which will seek to work with local churches and Christian ministries wherever feasible.
DESCRIPTION OF THE HOMES
Homes of refuges are intended to provide a health Christian and traditional family setting in which to grow up for these who are deprived from having one .This home are open to children between 1-18 years regardless of race , creed or religion. Each resident child will receive both love and compassion as well as Godly teachings .They will be provided with general Education and vocational training through local schools .Their health care needs and basic health instructions :will also be provided .The homes themselves will be designed as dwelling units rather than schools large orphanages they will accommodate 20-30 children with local customs and necessary health requirements ,they will be modest in keeping with general local standards , they will be operated in a safe sanitary and orderly manner.
HOMES OF REFUGE STAFF
Victorious Life Centre desires to hire a local Christian husband and wife (couple) to serve parents , this couple will have demonstrated integrity and high moral character , be established in a local church , well recommended by others and have would be hired , part time to assist this couple , I addition approved volunteer missionaries would also provide could help occasionally.
SUPERVISION AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE.
The Victorious Life Centre will establish an office and a church and retain a qualified local individual as administrator to represent and also will act as a chairperson of local Board of Directors. Also the home parents primary responsibility to care for the children and the legal right and authority necessary to administrative the affairs of the organization in the Centre all the times. The Board will have general responsibility for the running of home according to the organizational standards .The Victorious Life Centre will establish a bank Account in through which all the buildings and operational expenses will be paid , this account will be the responsibility of the Board and administrative representatives who will be a signatory .Budgeting and Financial management will be carried out through the co-operative efforts of the home parents and local Board of Directors.
FINANCES
The Victorious Life Centre will pay the establishment and operations of the home , including the following ‘ purchase and lease of land , building of a home including water and electricity for operations , feeding , clothing and education of resident children health and hygiene needs , wages for supervisory and training personnel and genera maintenance costs as necessary .
The Victorious Life Centre requires funds from donors in oversees countries , governmental organizations , Non-governmental Organizations , fund raising from the community . local churches to support the homes as part of an outreach to these deprived , abandoned and orphaned children.
SHORT TERM GOALS:
Short term goals for Victorious Life Centre Home of Refuge Project is as follows:- Lease or purchase land in a suitable area in approximate to our field office and an administrative , build a home large enough to accommodate 20-30 children , built a church , interview and hire home parents and support staffs , receive orphaned children , begin operations of this home as a pilot allowing time for any operational problems to surface and be solved before proceeding to long term goals.
LONG TERM GOALS
Our long term goals are to open additional homes on other areas where they may be needed , implementation of long term goals depends upon the success of the pilot home availability of the qualified home parents and adequate funding support.
