George Omanyi was born in 1957 in Busia  and, was brought up in the outskirts of the former white highlands-Trans-Nzoia.

He is the second born among the twelve children of their family. Both father and mother are alive.

1.             EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND (ACADEMIC)

Due to health factors, he stayed  at Dagoreti Children’s Centre from 1965-70 during which he under went an operation of his  left leg and attended school respectively. He went back  to Kitale (Trans-Nzoia) in 1970,and, sat for C.P.E (Certificate   of Primary Education) in 1973.-Class VII. He joined Lumakanda Boys High School and sat for K.C.E (Kenya certificate of education)- Form IV.

2.             PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

1979    :                       Was awarded with a Diploma in Business Management and

Administration  at Anglo-Jerssey college in Britain.

1983    :                       Awarded with a certificate in Office Practice at National

Commercial College Kitale (Kenya).

1985    :                       Awarded with a certificate in Commerce by Sloan-Duployan

Correspondence College-Britain.

1986 - 1987:                Was awarded with a certificate in Social Work from Kericho - Kenya.

3.             WORKING BACKGROUND

1980 - 1982     :           NAI ADC (Agri. Dev. Cop) Stores Clerk.

1991 - 1993     :           National Commercial College - Instructor.

1994 - 1998     :           Kenya Red Cross Society - Assistant  Administrator

1999 - 2004     :           Montessori Academy- Teacher

2005  Nov.                  E.C.K (Electoral Commission of Kenya)

Deputy Presiding Officer- Referendum process.

2006 Aug – Sept:        E.C.K Voter Registration Clerk

2007 March    :           E.C.K Voter Registration Clerk

2007 Dec.       :           Polling / Counting Clerk, (General Elections).

4.             MARRIAGE

In 1994,  married to Emily and they have two children, one in form III and the other in Class III.

5.             SPIRITUAL

He studies with the World Bible School in 1994 under the church of Christ Kenya.

In 1999 while he was a teacher, he was touched fully by Gods spirit.

While there, he was a  Bible teacher well  as the Head of Guidance and Counseling. He laid a strong foundation of  his  pupils spiritually and academically. Currently  he is  committed  in the teaching of  Gods word.

6.             APPEAL

He appeals to any one who is  interested to join and support him  in any field so as to establish  a strong foundation  of Gods word  and heath of all as well as academic  field  of children  who have  heard problems   during the post election  violence  and of cause  the 1997-2001 tribal clashes which have wrecked most parts of the country.
